Jack White 2012
Jul 27, 2012 Updated Jul 30, 2012

If you're heading out to see Jack White play this weekend, maybe you ought to leave your phone at home...

At last night's gig in Melbourne, fans were instructed to “please leave your phones in your pockets/purses and enjoy the show live and in person.”

Earlier this year, White spoke out against the use of phones at gigs, saying "You look out and see a sea of blue screens...The worst thing is to watch a young kid watching a show on their camera screen, instead of watching it on stage. You just want to take it out of his hand and go, 'Come on man, that's not what this is about'."
