INXS: the end?
During their weekend set at Perth Arena - in support of Matchbox 20 - drummer John Farriss took to the mic, saying although the band didn’t want to reveal anything ahead of the concert, it was "the last time" they would perform together.
The news came as something of a surprise to Ciaran Gribbin - the latest in a long line of frontmen following Michael Hutchece's death in 1997 - who said in a recent Fairfax interview that the band had big plans for the future.
