James Hunter
Aug 27, 2009 Updated Apr 6, 2011

UK soul sensation James Hunter returns to Australian shores in October for a run of intimate performances and festival appearances, presented by ABC Dig Music.

The singer burst onto the scene with his album The Hard Way which draws heavily on vintage sounds and the vocal style of 60’s soul singers such as Otis Redding and Sam Cooke.

Hunter performed two standout shows in Australia earlier this year as part of the East Coast Bluesfest, and on this return visit, he'll be playing in Victoria and Western Australia for the first time.

Tour Dates:

24 Oct – York Jazz Festival (WA)

26 Oct – The Basement (Sydney)

28 Oct – Manchester Lane (Melbourne)

29 Oct – Manchester Lane (Melbourne)
