The grant will supply Holly with just over $17,000 to use toward her upcoming tour of New Zealand, Japan, Europe and the United Kingdom.
Other successful applicants are musician Anthony Pateras and the bands Watussi, The Bezerker, Curse ov Dialect, Digger and the Pussycats and Monster Zoku Onsomb; and the percussion ensemble, the Glass Percussion Project.
International pathways is an initiative of the Australia Council's music board and market development section. The grants give artistic and market support to Australian musicians touring overseas.

Holly Throsby (born 28 December 1978) is a songwriter, vocalist, guitarist and pianist from Sydney, Australia. Throsby was nominated for an Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) 'Best Female Artist' Award in 2006 for Under the Town and in the same category in 2008 for A Loud Call.
