Genesis
Dec 17, 2009 Updated Mar 20, 2010

Abba, Genesis, The Hollies, Jimmy Cliff and the Stooges have been announced as the artist inductees for the 2010 US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Presenters and performers for the ceremony on March 15 next year will be announced at a later date, although genesis keyboardist Tony Banks told Billboard magazine that the band are unsure as to whether they will be playing at the event due to frontman Phil Collins’ health.

The 2010 inductees were chosen from 500 voters from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. Artists are eligible for inclusion in the hall of fame 25 years after their first recording is released.
