It seems Guns N' Roses timekeeping hasn't improved since their recent Reading festival experience.

The band was pelted with plastic glasses after showing up almost an hour late to a gig in Dublin on Saturday.

During the second song, singer Axl Rose asked the trigger-happy members of the crowd to stop, otherwise he would leave the stage.

"Despite his continued appeals, having tried to continue performing for 22 minutes, people continued throwing unknown substances, leaving the artist with no choice but to leave the stage," promoters MCD and O2 said in a joint statement.

The band were coaxed back onstage after 30 minutes, but by that time many of the crowd had, like Elvis, left the building.
