Grinderman back on the festival run

Grinderman
Jul 21, 2011 Updated Jul 25, 2011

Two more big festivals have announced sneak peeks of their lineups today, both starring the Nick Cave led Grinderman.

The 21st Meredith Music Festival will take place from the 9th until the 11th of December this year and they’re keeping pretty tight lipped about the other acts taking to the stage.

The Aussie kings of the 80s comeback Icehouse may have accidentally leaked their appearance with a gig listing on their facebook page – but the festival is yet to confirm.

However, Icehouse are definitely on the cards for the comeback of Aussie festival Homebake on December 3, joining the likes of The Triffids, Gotye, Gurrumul, Ladyhawke and many more.

Check out ABC Dig Music's interview with Warren Ellis and Jim Sclavunos of Grinderman (here).
