Gotye wins big

Australia's favourite Belgian has scooped the pool at the 2012 ARIA Awards.

Wally took home the pointy trophies for Album Of The Year, Best Male Artist, Best Pop Release and Best Live Act at the ceremony in Sydney last night. Other winners of note were Temper Trap, who got the Best Group and Best Rock Album gongs, and The Jezabels, whose debut disc Prisoner picked up the award for Best Independent Release.
