At first glance, it's not easy to see what Bryan Ferry, The Scorpions, Paul Anka, And Spice Girl Mel C have In common...

Well, believe it or not (and we didn't until we checked), they're all on the bill at London's Royal Albert Hall on March 30 to celebrate former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev's 80th birthday.

Adding to the general air of weirdness, the evening will be hosted by Kevin Spacey and Sharon Stone, with the event's official website promising that "famous artists from around the globe will perform in a series of poignant duets on stage".

Crikey.
