Gold for Sarah Blasko
Less than a month after its release, As Day Follows Night has sold over 35,000 copies.
The album peaked at number five on the ARIA chart during the first week of its release, and is now sitting at number 13.
Recorded earlier this year in Stockholm, the record is yet to reach the heights of Blasko’s earlier albums, The Overture and the Underscore and What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have, which have both gone platinum.
Blasko heads to Europe this week to perform with a seven piece band in Sweden, Denmark and London, before returning to Australia for a national tour in October.

Artist Biography
Sarah Elizabeth Blaskow (born 23 September 1976, Sydney, New South Wales), is an Australian singer-songwriter and musician. After fronting Sydney-based band Acquiesce from the mid-1990s, Blasko developed her solo career from 2002. In 2007, she won the 'Best Pop Release' for What the Sea Wants, the Sea Will Have at the ARIA Music Awards. Her latest album, As Day Follows Night, won the 'Best Female...
