Gauthier to tour
The Foundling, released on March 5th, is produced by Cowboy Junkies’ Michael Timmins, and is described as an autobiographical song cycle.
"I searched for, found, and was denied a meeting with my birth mother when I was 45 years old" Says Mary. "She couldn’t afford to re-open the wound she’d carried her whole life, the wound of surrendering a baby. The Foundling is my story.”

Heard your voice for the first time in a bookshop in Rutherglen Victoria. I was hypnotised. It was so haunting and honest. Went back to the propretor and asked him who the singer was. Mary Goshey he said. Searched high and low to find a record. Bought it and was completely Gobsmacked. Can't get enough of her voice. But then I am also crazy about Waylon Jenning and Johny Cash. The music just gets me.
Saw you on Spicks and Specks. Flipped when I found out you were in Australia. Looked up the dates on the computer> Been and gone. Love to know when you will return on tour.
