Pink Floyd's former north London home has sold for 1.8 million dollars.

Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright and Syd Barrett lived in the house - which was owned by lighting technician Mike Leonard - in the 1960s, and named their first band Leonard's Lodgers in honour of their landlord.

Shivan Iswaran, the west London property developer who bought the house, says she has no interest in the band or in the instruments left behind - some of which may have been used by the band in those early years: "I'll maybe put some of the stuff on eBay," she said.
