Prog-Rock legends Pink Floyd have finally settled their long-running dispute with record company EMI.

Floyd have signed a new five-year contract with the label after last year suing EMI for selling individual album tracks via download services like iTunes, saying their "seamless" albums should not be split up.

Pink Floyd won an early round of the court battle, but the case dragged on after EMI lodged an unsuccessful appeal. However, single Pink Floyd tracks have remained on sale through iTunes and will continue to be available under the new deal.

The band have been with the label since first signing with them in 1967.
