Family offer help for Sly

Following news that Funk veteran Sly Stone is homeless and living out of a van in LA, former bandmates have offered to help.

Members of The Family Stone – who are due Down Under for a series of gigs in November - were apparently shocked to hear of Sly's plight, with drummer Greg Errico saying "He knows if he ever wants to make music with us again, the door is always open."

Greg added the entire band is clean and sober, and he believes Sly - who's had a well-documented struggle with substance abuse - could benefit from being around positive influences.
