Australian electronic music duo Empire of The Sun are taking advantage of the unique marketing opportunity provided by this afternoon’s solar eclipse by streaming new music from their website to fans across the globe.

The duo, made up of The Sleepy Jackson's Luke Steele and Pnau's Nick Littlemore, will stream music from their site at walkingonadream.com, providing a soundtrack to the longest solar eclipse to happen so far this century.

The eclipse begins at 1pm Australian EST and will last 6 minutes and 39 seconds.

People in the Asia Pacific region will be able to see the eclipse, but it will only be visible in Australia from the very tip of far North Queensland.
