According to Rolling Stone, the 10-track album features Dylan's touring band and special guests including Los Lobos' David Hidalgo.
Rolling Stone's David Fricke describes the as-yet-untitled album as having a "live-in-the-studio feel" and is a "dark new disc with a bluesy border-town feel".
