Melbourne-based rockers The Drones are to end their year-long hiatus with a national tour in October.

The band have announced a run of seven dates in support of new live DVD A Thousand Mistakes, which is slated for release next month. The DVD includes a full live show from Melbourne’s East Brunswick Club, and an intimate session at an old factory space in Fairfield in Melbourne's north east.

Magic Dirt frontwoman Adalita will support The Drones on all dates.
