Drones of Bourbon
Former Beasts of Bourbon Spencer P Jones and James Baker have teamed up with Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin from The Drones for a new album.
Originally conceived as Jones' solo project at Empty Room studios in rural Victoria, the album emerged after studio owner Andrew McGee rang his neighbours - Liddiard and Kitschin - to come and sit in on the sessions.
Spencer P Jones and the Nothing Butts will be released on November 9, with a single and tour announcement to follow.

The Drones are an Australian rock group who rose to prominence during the early 2000s. They are influenced by a variety of bands and soloists including Neil Young, The Velvet Underground, Bad Brains, Suicide, Green on Red, The Birthday Party, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and Nina Simone.
