Devo Down Under
Following news of their US tag team tour with fellow New wave icons Blondie, Mark Mothersbaugh and Co have roped in Simple Minds for a run of Aussie shows in December.
Home-grown rockers The Church and The Models will provide support on the tour, which kicks off in Melbourne on November 30.
Devo and Simple Minds tour dates:
Friday November 30th -Palais Theatre, Melbourne
Saturday December 1st – Rochford Wines (A Day On The Green), Yarra Valley
Sunday December 2nd – Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
Tuesday December 4th- Kings Park & Botanic Garden (An Evening On The Green), Perth
Friday December 7th – Entertainment Centre, Sydney
Saturday December 8th – Bimbadgen Winery ( A Day On The Green), Hunter Valley
Sunday December 9th – Sirromet Wine (A Day On The Green), Mt Cotton
Wednesday December 12th – WIN Entertainment Centre, Woolongong

Devo (stylized as DEVO), is an American New Wave band formed in 1972 consisting of members from Kent and Akron, Ohio. The classic line-up of the band includes two sets of brothers, the Mothersbaughs (Mark and Bob) and the Casales (Gerald and Bob), along with Alan Myers.
