Dan Sultan wins at Deadlys

Dan Sultan took home two gongs at last night’s Deadly Awards in Sydney.

The singer-songwriter won Single Of The Year for Letter and Male Artist Of The Year. He was beaten to Album Of The Year by Archie Roach, who won for his sixth studio album 1988. The pair are set to tour together in November.

Other big winners on the night were The Medics who were named Band Of The Year and actors Rocky McKenzie and Deborah Mailman for the their roles in the movie Bran Nu Dae.

The Awards celebrate Indigenous achievements in entertainment, music, sport and the community.
