The band's latest album Intriguer debuted at the top of the ARIA chart three weeks ago, but didn't appear in the Australian Album Chart, because under ARIA rules at least 50% of a band's lineup must be fair-dinkum Aussies for it to be considered Australian.
When it was pointed out that AC/DC are considered to be an Australian band even though four of the five members are British - and that two of them have never lived here - ARIA had an apparent change of heart, allowing Intriguer to suddenly debut at number 6 on the Australian albums chart.
