Costello To Release Acoustic Country Album
The album was recorded in just three days at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studio with T Bone Burnett in the producer's chair.
Costello is backed by bluegrass and country musicians rather than his usual band. Emmylou Harris sings on one song.
The album features a track co-written with Loretta Lynn, two songs Costello originally wrote for Johnny Cash - 'Hidden same' and 'Boom Chicka Boom' - and a cover of the Velvet Underground's 'Femme Fatale'.
