UK rockers Coldplay have postponed a trip Down Under, due in part to a bout of the sniffles...

Chris Martin and Co were booked for a number of intimate gigs and TV appearances in Sydney this week, but a band statement reads "We miss you guys and we promise we'll make it up to you. In fact, stay tuned for a big announcement soon."

Frontman Chris Martin appeared to be battling a nasty cold when the group performed at a charity gig in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, and it's been suggested that this may have put paid to the Aussie trip.
