Coachella: just add water
The SS Coachella will set sail from Florida for a couple of 3-night cruises - to The Bahamas on December 16 and to Jamaica on December 19. On board will be the likes of Pulp, Hot Chip, Sleigh Bells, Black Lips and Grimes.
Memories of TV classics Gilligans Island and The Love Boat have obviously coloured the public response, both to the watery gatherings and to the cost, which ranges between 500 and a whopping 9000 dollars.
Comments on the official Facebook page range from "Looks nice, but I'm priced out" to the slightly more pithy "We got a floater!"

Pulp are an English alternative rock band formed in Sheffield in 1978. Their lineup consists of Jarvis Cocker (vocals, guitar), Candida Doyle (keyboards), Mark Webber (guitar), Steve Mackey (bass) and Nick Banks (drums).
