Casting call...
Biopics of both are currently in the works...Screen Australia has just announced development funding for both projects, with the snappy working titles Bon Scott and Michael.
So who'll play the pair? Melbourne rocker Nick Barker played Bon Scott in a theatrical production about the singer’s life, while J.D. Fortune, Terence Trent D’Arby and Jon Stevens have all channelled Hutchence as part of INXS, with - it has to be said - varying degrees of success.

Eric Bana should play Michael Hutchence... only once again his character meets an early demise.
Isn't Eric a bit too beefy to play Michael, though...?
Any other thoughts folks?
johnny depp should definitely play michael hutchence :)
Colin Farrel, although a bit too handsome would do a great Bon Scott I think. I'm sure the make up dept can ugly him up a bit, and a crash diet to get Bon's scrawny build. And I can't think of a single person that could fill Michael's shoes, even if it is just make believe.
Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother to play Hutchence.
I think Chris Lilly can play both parts. He is very versatile...
