Peter Gabriel is having trouble getting Radiohead's Thom Yorke to contribute to his Scratch My Back song swap scheme.

Yorke originally wrote to the former Genesis frontman seeking permission to record a version of Gabriel's song 'Wallflower' in return for PG's cover of Radiohead's 'Street Spirit...to which Yorke has yet to respond.

"I've no real idea whether he likes it or hates it" says Gabriel, who rather sneakily tagged the tracks sent out to the original owners, enabling him to gauge how often they were played.

I think he's only streamed 'Street Spirit' once" , says Peter "Which isn't a good sign."
