Big Day Out 2011 line up revealed
Organisers have finally put to rest the rumours of who will take to the stage at next year's festival, revealing one of its heaviest line-ups ever.
Two hard rock acts – American prog rockers Tool and Germany’s Rammstein will headline, whilst Scottish band Primal Scream will perform their classic album Screamadelica in full.
Australian talent on the list include John Butler Trio, Wolfmother, Angus and Julia Stone, Gyroscope and Birds of Tokyo.
The festival will play in Auckland, the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth across dates in January and February.

Primal Scream are a Scottish alternative rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie and Jim Beattie and now based in London. The current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes, Martin Duffy, and Darrin Mooney.
