UK singer-songwriter Beth Orton will release her first new album in six years on October 2.

Sugaring Season was recorded in Portland, produced by Tucker Martine - who's previously worked with The Decemberists - and features appearances by US guitarist Marc Ribot and folkie Sam Amidon.
