Mr Hansen, who's due Down Under in November for this year's Harvest Festival, will release - or should that be publish? - Beck Hansen's Song Reader, a collection of 20 unreleased tracks, but if you want to hear them - well, you'll have to play them yourself.
A statement from the publisher's reads "These songs...are as exciting as you'd expect from their author...But...bringing them to life depends on you, the reader".
Luckily there's still time to cram in a few music lessons before the collection hits the shops in December.

Beck Hansen (born Bek David Campbell, July 8, 1970) is an American musician, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, known by the stage name Beck. The four-time platinum artist rose to underground popularity with his early works, which combined social criticism with musical and lyrical experimentation. He first earned wider public attention for his breakthrough single "Loser", a 1994 hit....
