Basement Birds debut album teaser

Australia's latest indie supergroup Basement Birds have released samples of some of their first recordings online.

The group is a side project for Kevin Mitchell of Jebediah (aka Bob Evans), Kav Temperly from Eskimo Joe, Josh Pyke and Steve Parkin.

The band has been working on their debut record of country-tinged tunes over the last 3 years, and will release the album via iTunes in four lots of 3-track bundles every couple of weeks, starting in June.

There'll also be accoustic versions of the tracks available through their website.
