Obama and Gillard
Mar 10, 2011 Updated Mar 14, 2011

Aussie PM Julia Gillard has given US President Barack Obama an MP3 player chock full of Oz music.

When he next goes for a run, Mr Obama can select from a wide ranging list of Down Under tunes from the likes of Angus and Julia Stone, Paul and Dan

Kelly, The Panics, Crowded House, Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, Jimmy Barnes, John Butler and Xavier Rudd.

The Gillard mix tape even includes several contributions from musician-turned-minister Peter Garrett's former band Midnight Oil; and even though 'US Forces' doesn't get the nod, the Oils track 'Short Memory' - which is clearly crtitical of American involvement in El Salvador, Cambodia and Afghanistan - did make the cut.

Here's the full list...what do you reckon?
