UK Folk-Rockers Mumford & Sons have had a bad start to their Aussie tour...

Following their opening gig in Perth, someone walked off with the band's customised onstage monitoring gear, which may well have cost a packet but is pretty much useless to anyone else but the band, who elected not to get the police involved but instead issued a statement via Facebook appealing for the gear to be returned.

The rest of the Australian tour will hopefully go without a hitch, with the band playing Brisbane on Wednesday before heading to Sydney, Hobart, Melbourne, Canberra, Cairns, Townsville and the Gold Coast.
