The next Foo Fighters album will welcome back some old faces...

Dave Grohl has recruited his former Nirvana bandmate bassist Krist Novoselic to play on the record, which will also be produced by Nevermind producer Butch Vig.

Grohl told the BBC that he and his bandmates have spent the last month and a half (quote )"recording in my garage, totally old-school analog," and that the group has finished seven songs thus far.

"Foo Fighter fans are going to freak out because honestly, it's awesome." He gushed.
