Kate Miller-Heidke /ˈhaɪdkiː/ (born 16 November 1981) is a singer-songwriter from Brisbane, Australia. Although classically trained, she has followed a career in alternative pop music. She is signed to Sony Australia, Epic in the US and RCA in the UK.

Wow, the 2010 ARIA awards were unspeakably bad. The format was matched in its dreadfulness only by the arrogance of the musicians who continue to insult the public by showing up year after year to accept the very awards they pretend not to care about. It makes me sick. I'm looking at you Powderfinger, inter alia. A waste of time and a complete load of garbage. A piss-weak effort Australia.
I totally agree. A really trashy telecast not worthy of honouring our the amazing talent we have in this country. For the first time in many years - I turned it off!
