If not, you soon will be...new Hendrix releases are on the way following a major publishing deal.

Experience Hendrix - the company that effectively controls the Hendrix brand - has signed an eight year worldwide licensing deal with Sony Music.

The agreement covers the master recordings of the late guitar legend, and Sony plan a series of reissues next year including deluxe editions of the three Jimi Hendrix Experience albums as well as previously unreleased archive recordings.

According to Billboard magazine, the Hendrix catalogue accounts for around 1.2 million album sales worldwide each year.
