Roger Waters
Apr 15, 2010 Updated Apr 16, 2010

Waters said part of the excitement surrounding this staging of the album involves new technology that allows him to do things he could only dream about when the music was first performed back in the 80s.

The tour may also mark the end of Waters' performing career.

"I'm not as young as I used to be". He said, somewhat unecessarily, before adding "I have a swan song in me and I think this will probably be it."

For the record, Mr Waters is 66.
