An exhibition celebrating the history of one of the world’s biggest bands will open in Sydney on September the 11th.

AC/DC: Australia’s Family Jewels will include costumes, original instruments, stage props, photographs and rare hand-written material such as letters, notebooks and lyrics, with items such as Angus Young’s Gibson SG guitar and Bon Scott’s leather jacket set to steal the show.

The exhibition runs until November the 28th.

AC/DC are an Australian rock band, formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, who have remained the sole constant members. Commonly classified as hard rock, they are considered pioneers of heavy metal and are sometimes classified as so, though they themselves have always classified their music as simply "rock and roll". To date they are one of the highest grossing bands of all time....
