With so many to choose from, the biggest question was which track topped the pile...?
Strange to relate that Billy Ray Cyrus' bootscooting horror 'Achy Breaky Heart' was somehow considered less awful than Los Del Rio's Macarena and Danish dance-poppers Aqua's 'Barbie Girl', which was judged the epitome of awful.

Considering Barbie Girl was deliberately tongue-in-cheek, more fool the people who took it seriously enough to vote for here. Looks like their satire went through to the keeper.
Hi Rob...ta for the comments...there were certainly some very worthy contenders for the top spot in that list, so picking a track that was never meant to be taken at face value seems like a waste!
