2009 Homebake line-up announced

The line-up for this year’s Homebake has been announced.

Celebrating its 15th birthday this year, the iconic Sydney festival of homegrown music features an array of up-and-coming musical talent and plenty of well-established artists, along with a few special appearances by bands you haven't heard from in quite a while.

On the bill are Powderfinger, Tim Finn, Underground Lovers (original line-up), Tumbleweed (original line-up), Sarah Blasko, Jet, Eskimo Joe and Decoder Ring, with plenty more acts still to be announced.

Homebake happens on Saturday December 5 in Sydney’s Domain, and tickets are on sale on Monday August 17.

Powderfinger were an Australian rock band formed in Brisbane in 1989. From 1992 until their break-up the line-up consisted of vocalist Bernard Fanning, guitarists Darren Middleton and Ian Haug, bass guitarist John Collins and drummer Jon Coghill.
