Organisers of the bushfire/flood benefit concerts have released an extra 1000 tickets for Saturday's Melbourne event, to be headlined by Midnight Oil.

Organisers of the bushfire/flood benefit concerts have released an extra 1000 tickets for Saturday's Melbourne event, to be headlined by Midnight Oil.

"Finalisation of the production setup" has resulted in extra capacity for the MCG concert.

Organisers have also announced extra tickets for the Sydney event, which will be closed by Bee Gee Barry Gibb. He'll be backed by an all-star band including INXS' John Farriss.

Gibb said "I am truly proud and honoured to be a small part of such an incredible event. I shall be there with wings on my heels to help in any way I can the victims of this terrible disaster, let's make it count for all of them. I'm coming home."
