The Swell Season is a folk rock duo formed by Irish musician Glen Hansard and Czech singer and pianist Markéta Irglová. I missed The Swell Season whilst they were here in Melbourne.
This small insight into there songs is lovely. Everyone should listen
to one of their CD's. They will stand the test of time.

I reckon this band (The Frames too) are underrated...the success of the movie and it's one real hit overshadow what's a really solid body of work
I came to the Frames through the Swell Season and am very happy that I did. Their body of work is tremendous
Hi Debbie...with me it was t'other way round...I saw The Frames in Sydney a few years back and they were SO good live...go and see them if you get the chance!
