Something for Kate is a rock band from Melbourne, Australia, led by songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Paul Dempsey. The band was formed in 1994 and signed to the Murmur record label a year later when its three members were aged only 19. There are many things to like about Something for Kate and one of them is the way Paul Dempsey can take any of their songs and add a whole new dimension to it by singing it solo. I think they are one of Australia's music treasures.
