Created as a tribute to the band's frontman, the late David McComb, the live performances - A Secret In The Shape Of A Song - featured the surviving members and a cast of 'friends' including The Church's Steve Kilbey, Mark and Rob Snarski, Youth Group and many more.
The film's next season is at Melbourne's ACMI, Thursday 21 - Sunday 24 May as a part of a month of music in film.

Artist Biography
The Triffids were a seminal Australian alternative rock and pop band formed in Perth, Western Australia, in May 1978 with charismatic, David McComb as singer-songwriter, guitarist, bass guitarist and keyboardist. They achieved negligible success in Australia, but greater success in the U.K. and Scandinavia in the 1980s and disbanded in 1989, Some of their best known songs are "Wide Open Road"...
