Dave Taylor: Cold Chisel - The Things I Love in You - I've always had a thing for angry, passionate love songs. The type that you play when you've had your heart split in two and your downing cheap liquor and pretending like you never cared anyway. When the tempo changes and Barnesy screams out:

it gives me shivers and reminds me why we fall in love. Not because it's easy, but because it hurts and the pain reminds us we're alive!

Jenny Mulqueeny:  Van Morrison - Moondance - An oldie but a goody. This reminds me of what it is to young and free. To wear high heeled shoes and tight little black cocktail dresses whilst dancing the night away with "that special someone" It is one of my favourites to sing  as I drive through the windy hills of south Gippsland on my way to work. Now I don't care which cows are watching me!

Lily De Leo: K.D. Lang - Acquiesse - Partly because of her voice, which just melts me every time, but mainly because the song is about that feeling you get when you love someone so much that you lose all sense of who 'you' are for a little while and become so totally smitten that you give ALL of yourself to the person. Your heart, your soul, your Everything. And you just can't help it!  It's that stage just before reality sets in, when all is just Bliss. Ah...'falling' in love. It's wonderful.

Maria Harrison-Smith:  A hot, heady summer's night, early '87, The Venue, St Kilda. Hundreds of passionate, sweaty fans wind down as the night draws to a close. Every guy and girl has just passionately declared that they don't feel like a woman any more....and now in unison, before we go home, we all declare our love with 'Throw Your Arms Around Me. We leave the venue eager to shed our skin and let's get started.
