External Review:
"IT'S funny how people can be aware of an artist without actually knowing anything about them. I have none of Bowditch's back catalogue, I've never seen her perform live, and may not even be able to pick one of her hits out of a line-up.
But then along came Modern Day Addiction.
It's as if a light went on; suddenly I "get her''. What a sensational voice, presence and confidence.
Without one cringe-worthy moment, she tackles the biggest of big issues: war, consumerism, even the danger of instant gratification. She is a gifted storyteller, no doubt, but it's not what she sings about that appeals most, it is more about how she sends her message. Bowditch is charming and that lets her talent shine through the tough subjects".
