k.d. lang intimate evening in Melbourne
In this one-off live show for ABC Radio, k.d.lang will be performing with her band The Siss Boom Bang at the ABC Southbank studios in Melbourne.
They will be playing tracks from her brand new album Sing It Loud, which was recorded in Nashville and is her first studio album since the groundbreaking 2008 release Watershed.
Hosted by 774 ABC Melbourne’s Derek Guille and Richard Stubbs, this show will be broadcast live across ABC Victoria and ABC Dig Music will be recording and filming the show for play at a future date.
ABC Dig Music has 25 double passes to give away to this very special show. If you live in Melbourne and would like to come along, register here via the Entry Form (not the Comments box) and we will draw 25 winners to get double passes.
Please note, the prize is tickets only and you must be able to make it to the ABC Southbank studios in Melbourne by 8pm on Tuesday 5 April. Winners will be notified in writing prior to Friday 1 April.

I Love K.D. I'm an old schoolgitl from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz, another great genre of music. An intimate evening with K.D. would give this disabled chick a reason to Relax and Enjoy life, as it Should be. Besides, I have a face that will light up a room! ;D

Straight, gay, old young, particularly into country-feel music or not. Whether you've loved her for years or just the last few...it doesn't matter. It's all about the voice, her warm spirit, appealing song choices and ability to bind many different types of people together at her performances. Admired and respected by other singers and musicians, k d is also loved by her fans in general. Doesn't need dancers, acrobatics or smoke machines to entertain....not even shoes!!! Just the purity of that voice. Like everyone else, I'm praying to win tickets. Although I may be a tad envious, I wish any winners a great night. (how could it not be?). Annie Rossini.
