Out here five years ago for the memorable Came So Far For Beauty Leonard Cohen tribute show at the Opera House, and back touring in 2007, it seems The Handsome Family just can't get enough of Australia.
The husband and wife duo were here again in January to play shows around the country and a couple of special dates at the Famous Spiegeltent in Sydney’s Hyde Park, as part of the 2010 Sydney Festival.
ABC Dig Music caught up with the lovely Rennie and Brett Sparks to talk about love songs, what makes a good murder ballad, the magic of cement mixers and what it’s like to have been making music together for 14 years.
2009's Honey Moon is the eighth studio album for The Handsome Family. Its release coincided with the couple's 20th wedding anniversary.
