It’s very rare for a band to release two incredible singles in a row (‘Hands’, ‘Gasoline’) and follow it up with an album that is anywhere near as good, so I was worried about how this record would turn out. Thankfully, Melbourne sextet Alpine aren’t just two shells in a double-barrel shotgun – they’re the whole army.
