Stiff Gins are an Indigenous Australian band from Sydney. They call their music "acoustic with harmonies" and are regularly compared to Tiddas. The band was formed by Emma Donovan, Nardi Simpson and Kaleena Briggs after meeting at the Eora Centre while studying music. Nardi & Kaleen's 5 Songs just made my day! Especially the intro to "Voodoo Child". One of my all-time favourite artists introducing another of my all-time favourite artists! Now when I listen to Angelique Kidjo I'll be thinking about that sci-fi movie....
