Loved Steve's fav 5 listing.....great that someone out there remembers how good Tyrannosaurus Rex were - you know - nymphs(?), fairies, and all things mystically magic under the moon......not to mention Atlantis.

Oh -"Atlantis"- I had almost forgotten.Thank you.
I first heard it early 1969- and it still awakens the tsunami of grief felt worldwide for the death of hope brought by 1968- Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, the Prague Spring, Paris'68, Nixon elected- it was like a banshee wail for the beautiful dreams of "flower power"- just before Brian Jones drowning death, Altamont and Charles Manson.
Thank you for all of your choices- less well-known tracks of fine artists.
You managed to get me to listen to Genesis with an open mind, and I will investigate further.

great songs and a great change of feel - DIG is getting a bit too predictable/commercial with some music. But this was a journey into some lesser known or remembered music that is genuinely interesting. And Steve's commentary gives it another dimension.

I hadn't heard 3 of Steve's 5 choices before, but he spoke so passionately about them that I REALLY wanted to hear them by the time he'd finished. I wasn't disappointed.

This program keeps getting better - even though some of the choices are a bit out there, I love it!!
